my other dead cat who my mom put down three years ago without telling me 8))) I only found out after noticing he'd been missing for a few days (he was an outdoor cat), and mom was like 'o yea I took him to the vet and now he's gone' aaaand I was super pissed, still am, and always will be. I'd had him for as long as I could remember. Literally; he was like 15 years old. My mom had promised both me and my friend the chance to be there with him as he passed so I could hold him and kiss him and tell him I love him as his spirit left, but SHE FUCKING LIED and wasn't even in the room so he must have been so scared and she didn't even have the curtesy to bring me his body or ashes so I could hold a proper funeral. so yeah, I'm never trusting my mom ever again
and in a way this is my goodbye: flowers for the funeral I never had, and a memorial in his honour cause it's the least I can do, both for him and for myself.
His name was Squeak.
