I'd say a fifth option should be "anything to drown out the sounds of screaming from inside my head" just to double up on crazy. But, what I'd find sort of interesting is to keep up a commentary on something, a la youtubers if possible, or simply a conversation. Music's a close second, because then you can always mute it and put in your own if you don't like it
